Role Description The Director of Product Management is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading product vision and execution across Kalos Ventures’ portfolio and internal platforms. This role oversees end-to-end product lifecycle activities, from market discovery and opportunity assessment to roadmap creation, prioritization, and delivery. The Director will collaborate with founders, engineering, design, and operations teams to define product strategies aligned with the firm’s investment theses and to guide portfolio companies on product best practices. Daily responsibilities include analyzing product performance, conducting user and market research, setting measurable goals, and ensuring timely, high-quality execution of product initiatives. The role also involves mentoring product managers, facilitating cross-functional communication, and providing structured feedback and guidance to portfolio companies on product growth, scalability, and user experience.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Product Strategy and Product Management, including defining vision, roadmaps, and success metrics.
Strong Analytical Skills for market assessment, user behavior analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
Proven Team Leadership experience, with ability to coach and guide product managers and cross-functional teams.
Solid Project Management capabilities to plan, prioritize, and deliver complex initiatives on schedule.
Experience working with or within technology-driven organizations, ideally in AI, automation, robotics, workforce, care, or education sectors.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
Comfort working in a remote, fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or equivalent experience in product, business, or technology is beneficial.
