Role Description The VP of Sales is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading the overall sales strategy and execution across the organization. This role oversees sales teams, sets revenue targets, and develops plans to grow existing accounts and acquire new customers. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing sales operations, monitoring performance metrics, coaching sales managers and account leaders, and collaborating with marketing and product teams to align go-to-market strategies. The VP of Sales will participate in key client meetings, negotiate strategic deals, optimize sales processes and tools, and provide regular forecasts and business reviews to executive leadership. This position requires proactive leadership, strong commercial instincts, and the ability to build scalable, high-performing sales organizations in a remote environment.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Sales and Sales Management, including leading teams to achieve or exceed revenue targets.
Strong background in Account Management, with experience nurturing long-term client relationships and driving retention and expansion.
Proficiency in Sales Operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, reporting, and optimizing sales processes and tools.
Proven Business Development skills, with a track record of identifying opportunities, negotiating strategic partnerships, and closing complex deals.
Experience in building and leading remote or distributed sales teams, with inclusive leadership and coaching capabilities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Data-driven decision-making skills and familiarity with CRM platforms and sales analytics tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent leadership experience is a plus.
Background in experience-focused or customer-centric industries is beneficial, along with a commitment to ethical and non-discriminatory business practices.
