About the Role
GAOTek Inc. is looking for PhD professionals to join our global team as Technical Research & Innovation Advisors. This is a senior, strategic role, working in close partnership with the CEO to shape technology direction, evaluate emerging innovations across IoT, AI, and advanced tech products, and inform high-impact decisions.
You'll bring PhD-level rigor to bear on real business strategy — not academic exercises. This is a role for professionals who want their research expertise to directly influence decision-making at a global technology company.
Key Responsibilities
Work directly with the CEO on technology strategy, innovation direction, and high-priority research initiatives.
Lead in-depth research into IoT, AI, and other emerging technologies, industry shifts, and strategic technical opportunities.
Synthesize complex technical landscapes into clear, decision-ready insights and recommendations.
Evaluate cutting-edge IoT and AI technologies and innovative solutions with strategic business impact.
Apply AI-assisted methods to elevate the speed, depth, and quality of research and analysis.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders across functions to shape and deliver strategic initiatives.
Uphold the highest standards of intellectual rigor, discretion, and professionalism.
Key Skills
Good research and analytical skills
Good strategic and critical thinking
Ability to distill complex technical subject matter for senior audiences
Experience preparing reports, briefings, or presentations is a plus
Sound, research-driven judgment and decision-making
Willingness to engage and collaborate across functions
Comfort taking ownership of assignments and working independently
Good attention to detail and quality
Qualifications
PhD (completed, or in the final stages of completion) in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or a related technical, scientific, or research-based field.
Research, academic, or professional experience relevant to technology, innovation, or emerging tech; published research or technical projects are a plus but not required.
Ability to work independently in a global remote environment.
Access to a laptop/PC and reliable internet connection.
