Vice President of Sales
Position Overview
The Vice President of Sales is responsible for the company’s overall sales strategy, sales organization, business development, and execution. This role oversees the development of the company’s sales infrastructure, market expansion, customer acquisition, channel management, sales team development, revenue growth, and international sales operations.
The Vice President of Sales will ensure that all sales functions operate efficiently, continuously expand high-value customers and strategic partners, increase market share and sales performance, and strengthen the company’s overall competitiveness in the global jewelry market.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Business Management
Develop and implement the company’s mid- and long-term sales strategy and business development plans.
Establish and continuously optimize the company-wide sales management system.
Translate corporate strategic objectives into clear sales plans, targets, and execution initiatives.
Optimize the sales organizational structure, regional coverage, and sales management model.
Ensure consistent, efficient, and sustainable performance across all sales functions.
2. Market Expansion & Customer Development
Develop domestic and international market expansion strategies and identify new markets and business opportunities.
Develop and maintain key accounts, strategic customers, and long-term business partnerships.
Expand high-value customer relationships and strategically important business resources.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and industry developments.
Continuously strengthen the company’s brand presence, market share, and sales growth capabilities.
3. Sales Team & Channel Management
Build and enhance the sales organization, management systems, and talent development framework.
Lead the recruitment, management, training, and performance development of the sales organization.
Establish and manage effective sales channels and strategic partner networks.
Optimize relationships with distributors, agents, retailers, and other channel partners.
Develop effective sales incentive, performance management, and accountability systems.
Lead the sales organization in executing the company’s sales strategy and key business initiatives.
4. Sales Performance & Revenue Management
Establish sales targets, performance indicators, and sales performance management systems.
Set and manage annual, quarterly, and monthly sales objectives.
Analyze sales performance, customer data, revenue trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Optimize customer segmentation, product sales mix, and regional sales allocation.
Improve customer conversion, retention, repeat purchase rates, sales productivity, and profitability.
Drive sustainable growth in overall sales efficiency, revenue, and profitability.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Business Support
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Procurement, Supply Chain, Production, Customer Service, Finance, and other functional teams.
Establish effective cross-functional sales collaboration processes.
Ensure sales objectives remain aligned with the company’s overall business strategy.
Work with internal teams to continuously improve products, supply chain capabilities, and customer service based on market and customer requirements.
Drive the successful execution of key accounts, strategic projects, and major sales initiatives.
Provide sales leadership and business support for new markets, new products, and international expansion initiatives.
6. Risk & Compliance Management
Identify potential risks associated with sales operations, customer relationships, contracts, and business partnerships.
Establish sales risk monitoring, early-warning, and contingency management mechanisms.
Ensure sales activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, contractual requirements, and industry standards.
Strengthen customer management, contract management, and internal sales controls.
Standardize sales processes, business procedures, and partnership mechanisms.
Support sustainable, stable, and compliant growth of the company’s sales operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
20–25 years of experience in sales management, business development, market expansion, or related fields.
8+ years of senior management experience, preferably at the Director level or above.
Proven sales leadership experience within large enterprises, multinational companies, or internationally oriented organizations.
Experience in jewelry, luxury goods, retail, manufacturing, or related industries is preferred.
International sales, global market expansion, or cross-border business management experience is preferred.
Established relationships with key accounts, strategic customers, distributors, retailers, and other business partners.
Strong capabilities in sales strategy, market expansion, organizational leadership, and business execution.
