Role Description The Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the development and execution of EFA’s overall strategic direction. The CSO will define long-term business plans, identify growth opportunities, and oversee strategic initiatives across global markets and fintech segments. This role involves collaborating with executive leadership and client-facing teams to align advisory services, investment priorities, and organizational capabilities with market trends and client needs. The CSO will monitor industry developments, analyze competitive landscapes, and refine strategic priorities to support innovation and value creation for clients. Day-to-day activities include managing strategic projects, guiding cross-functional teams, presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders, and ensuring measurable outcomes from strategic plans.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Business Planning and Strategic Planning skills, with demonstrated experience in defining and implementing long-term organizational strategies.
Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills and Finance expertise to evaluate market opportunities, financial performance, and investment decisions.
Candidates should possess Executive Management capabilities, including leadership of senior teams, decision-making in complex environments, and stakeholder management.
Extensive experience in financial services, fintech, or related advisory and investment roles, preferably in global or multi-region contexts.
Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives from concept through execution, with clear impact on growth and performance.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence internal leaders and external clients.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed environment, managing priorities across time zones and cultures.
Advanced degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is strongly preferred; relevant professional certifications are a plus.
