Role Description The Logistics Director is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing end-to-end logistics operations to support the firm’s internal processes and client engagements. This position coordinates supply chain activities, including procurement planning, vendor management, and distribution scheduling, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services. The Logistics Director manages warehouse operations and inventory controls, establishes and monitors performance metrics, and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. The role involves collaborating with finance, operations, and client-facing teams to align logistics strategies with business objectives and service commitments. The Logistics Director also develops policies, negotiates contracts, and leverages technology solutions to optimize logistics management across the organization.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Supply Chain Management and Logistics Management for planning, coordination, and optimization of end-to-end flows.
Candidates should possess experience in Operations Management and Warehouse Operations to oversee inventory, storage, and process efficiency.
Candidates should possess capabilities in Procurement to manage sourcing strategies, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations.
Candidates should possess strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills to use data for decision-making and continuous improvement.
Relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations leadership, ideally in professional services or technology-enabled environments.
Proficiency with ERP or logistics management systems and strong Excel or data analysis skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead remote teams, communicate clearly, and collaborate across departments.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field; advanced certification (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) is an advantage.
