Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Junior Architect. The Junior Architect will support the design and development of architectural projects, preparing drawings, models, and documentation under the guidance of senior team members. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with concept design, drafting floor plans and elevations, coordinating with project stakeholders, and ensuring design standards and codes are met. The role also involves collaborating with software developers or technical teams on integration of design tools, contributing to project schedules, and maintaining organized project files. The Junior Architect is expected to participate in online meetings, provide regular progress updates, and adapt to evolving project requirements.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including familiarity with building codes, standards, and basic structural concepts.
Candidates should possess skills in Software Development and Integration, with the ability to work with design software and support integration between architectural tools and digital platforms.
Candidates should possess skills in Project Management, including task prioritization, time management, and coordination with remote team members.
Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or similar) and basic BIM understanding is beneficial.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to follow established workflows.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience in architectural design.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, demonstrate accountability for deadlines, and learn new tools and methods as needed.
