Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Ahmedabad. The Pharmacist will dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately, verify prescriptions, and provide clear counseling on dosage, side effects, and safe use. Responsibilities include maintaining proper storage conditions, managing inventory, checking expiry dates, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards. The role also involves supporting customers with health-related queries, documenting transactions, handling billing, and coordinating with doctors and other healthcare professionals as needed. The Pharmacist will contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient pharmacy environment while upholding high standards of customer service and medication safety.
Qualifications
Relevant pharmacy qualification (B.Pharm / D.Pharm) and valid registration with the State Pharmacy Council.
Strong knowledge of pharmacology, prescriptions, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and standard treatment guidelines.
Ability to dispense medications accurately, maintain records, and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Customer service skills, including clear communication, patient counseling, and a professional, respectful approach.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and basic computer proficiency for billing and inventory systems.
Ability to work in shifts as required, stand for extended periods, and collaborate effectively with colleagues and healthcare providers.
Prior experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy is an advantage but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
