Role Description The Human Resources Payroll and Shared Services Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurgaon. The specialist will manage end-to-end payroll processing, including data collection, validation, salary computation, statutory deductions, and timely disbursement, while ensuring full compliance with applicable laws and company policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate employee records, handling HR documentation, supporting benefits administration, and responding to employee queries on payroll, attendance, and HR policies. The role also involves coordinating with finance and other departments, generating regular HR and payroll reports, assisting with onboarding and exit formalities, and supporting HR shared services such as HRIS updates, letter issuance, and basic employee lifecycle activities. The specialist is expected to uphold confidentiality, provide responsive employee service, and contribute to process improvements in HR operations.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of payroll processes, statutory compliances (e.g., PF, ESI, income tax), and HR operations.
Experience working with HRIS/HRMS tools, Excel, and other payroll or attendance management systems.
Ability to manage employee data accurately, maintain documentation, and generate HR and payroll reports.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for handling employee queries and coordinating with internal stakeholders.
Attention to detail, numerical aptitude, and strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, demonstrate integrity, and work reliably in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field; HR or payroll certifications are an advantage.
Prior experience in an HR payroll or shared services role, preferably within healthcare or a similar regulated industry, is beneficial.
