Role Description The Computer Teacher role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gorakhpur at Newtons Computer Classes. The Computer Teacher will conduct classroom sessions on computer fundamentals, office applications, accounting software, digital marketing basics, and programming languages such as C++, Python, and Java, following the institute’s curriculum. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, delivering interactive lectures and labs, assessing student performance through assignments and tests, and providing academic mentoring and doubt-clearing support. The role involves maintaining accurate student records, coordinating with administrative staff on schedules and course planning, and contributing to curriculum updates to keep content aligned with current industry practices. The Computer Teacher is also expected to foster an inclusive, respectful learning environment and encourage learners to build strong technical and professional skills.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science with practical knowledge of IT concepts, software applications, and operating systems.
Hands-on Programming skills in languages such as C++, Python, and Java, with the ability to explain core concepts clearly.
Effective Communication skills, including the ability to present complex topics in simple terms and engage diverse learners.
Experience in Curriculum Development, including designing lesson plans, course materials, and assessments aligned with learning outcomes.
Proven Teaching skills, preferably in computer education or related fields, with experience in classroom or lab-based instruction.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline (BCA/MCA or equivalent preferred).
Ability to use educational technology tools, presentation software, and online resources to support learning.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail in student evaluation and reporting.
