Role Description The Vice President of Project Strategy is a full-time remote role responsible for leading strategic initiatives across the firm’s trading, stockbroking, and market insight functions. This role oversees project planning, prioritization, and execution to align with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements. The Vice President will collaborate with senior leadership to define long-term strategic roadmaps, assess business opportunities, and drive digital and operational transformation. Day-to-day activities include managing cross-functional project teams, setting measurable goals and timelines, monitoring project performance, and providing regular status reports and recommendations. The role also involves identifying process improvements, developing frameworks for project governance, and mentoring team members to strengthen project strategy capabilities.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills and Finance expertise to evaluate market data, investment opportunities, and project financial impact.
Strategic Planning and Digital Strategy skills to design and implement long-term initiatives that enhance business performance and technology enablement.
Consulting experience with the ability to advise stakeholders, structure complex problems, and present clear, actionable recommendations.
Proven leadership in project or program management, including experience overseeing cross-functional teams in a financial services environment.
Solid understanding of capital markets, brokerage operations, and regulatory frameworks, preferably within the Nigerian or similar markets.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed setting.
Track record of driving organizational change, process optimization, and digital transformation initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, PMP) are an advantage.
