Staff Frontend Engineer

We are hiring for a US-based stealth-mode product company building a next-generation real-time consumer platform at massive scale. The company operates in the intersection of social gaming, prediction-based interaction, real-time engagement, and digital entertainment, serving millions of users globally. They are currently building their India engineering hub with a team of highly experienced hands-on engineers. This is a high-ownership Staff Frontend Engineer role focused on building scalable, high-performance, consumer-grade web experiences.
Responsibilities:
Build and scale highly interactive frontend applications used by millions of users.
Drive frontend architecture and engineering best practices.
Develop performant, responsive, and real-time user experiences.
Build scalable component libraries and design systems.
Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams.
Improve frontend performance, reliability, and developer experience.
Contribute to platform modernization and next-generation product experiences.
Requirements:
8+ years of frontend engineering experience.
Strong hands-on experience with React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript.
Strong understanding of frontend architecture and scalable UI systems.
Experience building high-scale consumer-facing products.
Experience with performance optimization and responsive design.
Strong understanding of modern state management and API integrations.
Experience with design systems and reusable component libraries.
Ability to work in fast-moving, product-focused environments.
Good to Have:
Experience with real-time systems or live interactive experiences.
Exposure to WebSockets, event-driven UI, or streaming interfaces.
Gaming, fintech, consumer internet, or high-scale product background.
Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical decisions.
