Role Description The SAP Lead at Biotech Vision will oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP solutions that support core business processes. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ranchi, requiring close collaboration with finance, operations, and IT teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective SAP configurations. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading SAP FICO and related module activities, managing master data integrity, analyzing business needs, and coordinating with stakeholders to improve workflows. The SAP Lead will provide consulting support to internal teams, troubleshoot system issues, drive enhancements, and ensure SAP aligns with compliance and reporting standards. The role also involves mentoring team members, documenting processes, and supporting system upgrades and change management initiatives.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of business process design and optimization, with the ability to map requirements to SAP solutions.
Proficient analytical skills for interpreting data, identifying system gaps, and proposing improvement measures.
Experience in consulting or stakeholder-facing roles, with the ability to gather requirements and communicate solutions clearly.
Hands-on expertise with SAP FICO, including configuration, integration with other modules, and support of finance-related processes.
Knowledge of master data management principles, including set-up, maintenance, and governance of key data elements in SAP.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field.
Prior experience as an SAP Lead, SAP Consultant, or similar role in an enterprise environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Experience in the biotech, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing sectors is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Ranchi and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
