Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Architect role based in Gurugram. The Junior Architect will support senior team members in developing architectural concepts, preparing drawings, and producing design documentation for ongoing projects. Daily tasks include assisting with conceptual and schematic design, preparing detailed 2D and 3D drawings, and coordinating revisions based on feedback from senior architects and clients. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and external consultants, participating in site visits, and helping ensure that designs comply with local regulations and project requirements. The Junior Architect will also contribute to presentation materials and maintain organized project documentation.
Qualifications
Strong skills in architectural design and drafting, including preparation of plans, sections, elevations, and 3D visualizations
Proficiency in common architecture and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools)
Understanding of building codes, local regulations, and basic construction methods
Ability to work collaboratively within a project team and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
Solid time-management and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
Willingness to learn, accept guidance from senior architects, and participate in site visits as required
Prior internship or entry-level experience in an architectural firm is preferred but not mandatory
