Collaborating Physician – Psychiatric NP Practice
California | Part-Time | Approximately 10 Hours/Week
We are seeking a California-licensed physician to serve as a collaborating physician for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) providing outpatient mental health services to adult patients only.
Patient Population & Clinical Focus
The practice focuses primarily on adults with:
ADHD
Anxiety disorders
Depression
Responsibilities
Serve as a collaborating physician for the PMHNP practice
Provide clinical consultation and case review as needed
Be available for approximately 10 hours per week
Collaborate regarding psychiatric medication management and treatment planning when appropriate
Support safe, evidence-based outpatient psychiatric care
Requirements
Active and unrestricted California physician license
Active DEA registration in California
Experience working with adult behavioral/mental health patients
Comfortable collaborating with a PMHNP treating ADHD, anxiety, and depression
Good communication skills and reliable availability
Psychiatry or significant behavioral-health experience strongly preferred
Practice Setting
Adult outpatient psychiatric practice (telehealth)
Focused patient population with ADHD, anxiety, and depression
Approximately 10 hours per week
Collaborative and flexible working relationship
Compensation
Competitive compensation based on experience and the agreed-upon collaboration arrangement.
