Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineering Professional role based in Jamnagar. The Civil Engineering Professional will be responsible for preparing and reviewing civil engineering designs, drawings, and calculations for a variety of projects. Daily tasks include coordinating with project managers and other stakeholders, supporting site evaluations, and ensuring that designs meet technical standards, safety regulations, and local codes. The role involves assisting in planning and overseeing project execution, monitoring progress, and contributing to reports and documentation. The professional will also participate in meetings with clients and authorities, provide technical input on water resource and infrastructure solutions, and support quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to apply engineering principles to practical projects.
Experience or interest in Water Resource Management, including basic understanding of water systems, drainage, and related infrastructure.
Project Management skills to help plan, coordinate, and track civil engineering projects from concept to completion.
Effective Communication skills for collaborating with team members, clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations applicable to civil works.
Proficiency in engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, civil design tools) and MS Office applications.
Ability to work on-site in Jamnagar, manage multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail and safety practices.
Prior internship or professional experience in civil engineering consulting or construction is an advantage.
