Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Quality Assurance Engineer in Ramallah - Palestine. The QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, functionality, and overall user experience of the Company’s interactive training products prior to customer release. The role performs comprehensive manual testing across Unity WebGL applications, web-based platform features, and multilingual training content, with particular focus on functionality, localization, content accuracy, usability, and cross-platform compatibility. The QA Engineer works closely with the QA Lead and cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, maintain quality standards, and support the timely delivery of stable, customer-ready releases.
Key Responsibilites:
Execute comprehensive manual testing of interactive training products, Unity WebGL builds, web-based platform features, and multilingual training content in accordance with approved test plans, release priorities, and QA processes.
Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and exploratory testing to verify that product features operate as intended across supported platforms, devices, and product variants.
Validate multilingual training content, including voice-over, subtitles, translations, visual assets, instructional text, navigation, interactive activities, and assessment content, ensuring alignment with approved source content and specifications.
Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects with clear and actionable information, including reproduction steps, actual and expected results, severity, supporting evidence, and relevant environment or build details.
Collaborate closely with developers, designers, production leads, content teams, and other stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle to support effective defect resolution and maintain defined quality standards.
Execute regression and release validation testing to confirm that resolved defects and new features meet acceptance criteria and that existing functionality has not been adversely affected.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date QA documentation, including test cases, test checklists, test results, defect reports, release validation records, and other quality-related documentation using the Company’s designated tools and processes.
Communicate testing progress, risks, blockers, and quality findings clearly to the QA Lead and relevant stakeholders, escalating critical issues that may impact release readiness.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, testing practices, documentation, and test coverage to improve product quality and testing efficiency
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Instructional Design, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered
Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in manual software QA/testing, content QA, or another quality-focused role. Experience with interactive applications, e-learning products, games, or training platforms is preferred.
Manual Testing: Strong understanding of software testing principles, test case execution, defect identification, regression testing, and exploratory testing
Bug Tracking & Documentation: Hands-on experience with bug tracking and QA management tools such as Linear, Jira, or equivalent platforms.
Technical Understanding: Basic understanding of web applications, browsers, responsive behavior, and software development concepts. Familiarity with Unity and WebGL applications is an advantage
Communication: Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to clearly document defects, testing results, and quality risks.
Multilingual Content: Comfortable reviewing and validating multilingual digital content and identifying discrepancies in translations, subtitles, voice-over, visual assets, and instructional content.
Languages: Fluent English (spoken and written); comfortable working with multilingual training content
Skills and Competinces:
Strong knowledge of manual software testing methodologies and QA processes.
Ability to design, execute, and maintain structured test cases and test checklists.
Strong defect identification, analysis, reproduction, and documentation skills.
Proficiency with bug tracking and project management tools such as Linear or Jira.
Familiarity with web applications, browsers, responsive interfaces, and cross-platform testing.
Basic familiarity with Unity and WebGL-based applications.
Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, and other reporting/documentation tools.
Understanding of localization and multilingual content validation.
Exposure to test automation tools such as Playwright or Selenium is an advantage.
Experience testing e-learning platforms, interactive training applications, Unity-based applications, games, or WebGL products
Experience with localization QA, translation verification, or multilingual digital content.
Experience testing web-based applications across different browsers, operating systems, devices, and screen sizes.
ISTQB Foundation Level or another recognized QA certification.
Exposure to test automation concepts and tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Experience working with content management, learning management, or digital training platforms
