Cafe Staff Team Lead

Procons Innovations Pvt. Ltd., the official franchise partner of Amore Gelato & Café, is looking for an energetic, customer-focused, and responsible Team Lead for our outlets at Kadavanthra and Lulu Mall, Kochi.

✅ Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and supervise the café team to deliver exceptional customer service.
Oversee daily café/kiosk operations and ensure smooth workflow during all shifts.
Serve gelato, shakes, beverages, and café food items with consistency, precision, and a friendly attitude.
Attend to customers courteously, handle queries professionally, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a memorable customer experience.
Operate and supervise POS transactions, cash handling, daily sales reconciliation, and billing accuracy.
Train, mentor, and coach team members on SOPs, food safety, hygiene, product knowledge, and service standards.
Prepare and oversee the preparation of café food items, ensuring quality, presentation, and portion consistency.
Coordinate with kitchen and bakery teams to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards across the outlet.
Ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of ingredients and prepared food items.
Monitor inventory levels, replenish stocks of products and packaging materials, and report shortages to the Store Manager.
Plan and coordinate staff shift schedules and ensure timely opening and closing of the outlet.
Drive sales through upselling, product recommendations, free sampling, and promotional activities.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, operational procedures, safety standards, and quality guidelines.
🎓 Requirements
Experience: 2+ years in F&B, retail, or hospitality, with prior team leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Language: Good communication skills in Malayalam and English.
Leadership: Strong interpersonal, team management, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
Attitude: Positive, proactive, responsible, customer-focused, and a strong team player.
Appearance: Presentable and well-groomed.
Location: Based in or willing to relocate to Kochi.
Preferred Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.

📍 Amore Kochi (Café)
Full-Time: Rotational shifts (10:00 AM – 8:00 PM / 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM)
📍 Lulu Mall Kochi (Kiosk)
Full-Time: Rotational shifts (9:00 AM – 7:00 PM / 1:30 PM – 11:30 AM)
