Jr. Android Developer

We're looking for a talented Jr. Android Developer to join a fast-growing product team and contribute to building scalable, user-friendly mobile applications.
Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and enhance Android applications using Kotlin.
Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces with modern Android development practices.
Work with the Android SDK and Jetpack Components (ViewModel, Navigation, Room, etc. ).
Implement clean, scalable architecture using MVVM (knowledge of MVP/MVC is a plus).
Integrate RESTful APIs and collaborate with backend teams.
Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following software engineering best practices.
Optimise application performance, responsiveness, and stability.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues efficiently.
Participate in code reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
1-3 years of hands-on Android development experience.
Strong proficiency in Kotlin.
Good understanding of Android SDK and Android Fundamentals.
Experience with Jetpack Components, Room Database, SQLite, Coroutines, and Dependency Injection.
Knowledge of MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON parsing, and backend integrations.
Understanding of multi-threading, Android lifecycle, and performance optimisation.
Experience with Android Studio, Gradle, Git, and version control.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and SOLID Principles.
