Position Summary
Future Interns is seeking a UI/UX Design Intern to assist with design activities for digital product and interface projects.
The role is intended for students and recent graduates who have an interest in user experience and interface design. The intern will work on assigned design tasks involving research, wireframes, visual layouts, prototypes, and design documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with basic user research and competitor analysis.
Organize research observations and identify common usability considerations.
Create user flows and wireframes for assigned interfaces.
Develop low- and high-fidelity interface designs.
Build prototypes to communicate proposed interactions.
Apply typography, spacing, layout, and visual hierarchy principles.
Maintain consistency across screens and components.
Incorporate feedback received during design reviews.
Prepare design assets and documentation for development handoff.
Coordinate with developers when clarification is required during implementation.
Qualifications
Basic understanding of UI/UX principles.
Familiarity with wireframing and prototyping concepts.
Strong attention to detail.
Interest in digital products and user-centered design.
Ability to explain design decisions clearly.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Tools
Experience with any of the following is useful:
Figma
Adobe XD
Sketch
Canva
Other wireframing or prototyping tools
Knowledge of responsive design and basic accessibility principles is an advantage.
