Overview
We are a growing technology and financial services company focused on delivering innovative, technology-driven solutions across a rapidly evolving global market. As the organization continues to expand, we are seeking an experienced Vice President of Enterprise Project Management to lead the company’s enterprise project management function and establish a consistent framework for planning, prioritizing, and executing major business initiatives.
This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the company’s project management organization, enterprise project portfolio, governance processes, and execution standards. The VP of Enterprise Project Management will work closely with executive leadership and functional leaders to ensure that strategic initiatives are properly prioritized, resourced, managed, and delivered.
About the Role
As Vice President of Enterprise Project Management, you will provide enterprise-wide leadership for major projects and programs across the organization.
You will establish project management standards, governance structures, reporting processes, and performance frameworks that enable teams to execute complex initiatives effectively. The role will also oversee the enterprise project portfolio and help leadership make informed decisions regarding priorities, resources, timelines, and business outcomes.
The ideal candidate combines strong project and program management expertise with executive-level business judgment and the ability to coordinate complex initiatives across multiple functions.
Key ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Project Management
Lead the company’s enterprise project management function and operating framework.
Establish consistent standards for project planning, execution, reporting, and governance.

Monitor project performance and identify execution risks, dependencies, and resource constraints.

Project Portfolio Management
Oversee the enterprise portfolio of strategic projects and programs.
Partner with executive leadership to prioritize initiatives based on business objectives, resources, and organizational capacity.
Evaluate project dependencies, competing priorities, and resource requirements.
Establish portfolio-level reporting and performance visibility.
Identify projects requiring additional resources, executive decisions, or corrective action.
Support leadership in balancing short-term operational priorities with long-term strategic initiatives.
Strategic Program Execution
Lead the execution of high-priority enterprise initiatives.
Translate strategic objectives into practical project plans and execution roadmaps.
Coordinate multiple workstreams and stakeholders across the organization.
Establish project milestones, deliverables, timelines, and success measures.
Provide executive leadership with regular updates regarding progress, risks, and business outcomes.
Ensure strategic projects are delivered with appropriate accountability and operational discipline.
Project Governance
Develop and maintain enterprise project governance standards.
Establish appropriate approval, escalation, reporting, and decision-making processes.

Resolve cross-functional dependencies and execution challenges.
Facilitate communication between executive sponsors, project leaders, and functional teams.
Ensure teams remain aligned around project objectives, timelines, and expected outcomes.
Product & Technology Programs
Partner with Product and Engineering leadership on major technology and product initiatives.
Coordinate development, implementation, integration, migration, and technology transformation programs.
Align technical project requirements with business objectives and organizational priorities.
Monitor technology project dependencies, delivery schedules, and resource requirements.
Support effective communication between technical and business stakeholders.
Business Transformation
Lead enterprise initiatives involving process improvement, organizational transformation, operational efficiency, and business growth.
Identify opportunities to improve project execution and organizational processes.
Develop implementation plans for major organizational changes.
Coordinate stakeholders throughout transformation initiatives.
Establish measurable objectives and performance indicators for transformation programs.
Risk, Issues & Dependency Management
Establish enterprise processes for identifying and managing project risks.
Monitor critical issues and dependencies across the project portfolio.
Coordinate escalation and resolution of significant project challenges.
Work with Risk & Compliance teams where projects involve regulatory, operational, or business risks.
Develop mitigation and contingency plans for high-priority initiatives.
Financial & Resource Management
Partner with Finance and business leaders to establish project budgets and resource plans.
Monitor project resource utilization and financial performance.
Support business cases and investment decisions for major initiatives.
Identify resource conflicts across projects and recommend appropriate allocation.
Ensure projects remain aligned with approved financial and organizational resources.
Performance Management
Establish enterprise-level project KPIs and performance standards.
Monitor project delivery, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and business outcomes.
Develop executive dashboards and portfolio-level reporting.
Analyze project performance and identify trends or recurring execution challenges.
Conduct post-project reviews and incorporate lessons learned into future initiatives.
Team Leadership
Build and lead a high-performing enterprise project management organization.
Recruit, develop, and mentor project and program management leaders.
Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations.
Develop project management capabilities throughout the organization.
Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Work with Finance on project budgets, investment analysis, resource allocation, forecasting, and financial performance.
Sales & Business Development
Support strategic commercial initiatives, market expansion projects, partnerships, and enterprise growth programs.
Risk & Compliance
Work closely with Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams to incorporate appropriate regulatory and operational considerations into major projects.
Customer Success
Coordinate customer-facing implementation projects, service improvements, product adoption initiatives, and other programs affecting the customer experience.
Preferred Background
The ideal candidate has significant senior leadership experience in enterprise project management, program management, strategic operations, business transformation, or a related function, preferably within technology, FinTech, financial services, SaaS, payments, or another complex organization. The candidate should have experience managing enterprise-level project portfolios, establishing governance frameworks, and leading large cross-functional initiatives. Strong candidates will be comfortable working directly with senior executives, managing competing priorities, allocating resources, and translating strategic objectives into practical execution plans.
Qualifications
15+ years of experience in project management, program management, enterprise operations, business transformation, or related fields.
5+ years of experience in senior management or executive leadership.
Demonstrated experience managing enterprise-level projects, programs, or portfolios.
Experience establishing project management processes, governance frameworks, and operating standards.
Strong experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives involving multiple business functions.
