Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in the Greater Delhi Area. The Accountant will manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank accounts. The role will involve preparing financial statements, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes. The Accountant will ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies, and will prepare documentation for audits and regulatory filings. The position also includes collaborating with other departments to provide financial insights, handling accounts payable and receivable, and helping improve financial processes and controls.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
Candidates should possess skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making.
Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel) and be comfortable working with financial databases.
Candidates should possess attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational and time-management skills.
Candidates should possess good communication skills to explain financial information clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Relevant experience in accounting or finance roles, ideally within a corporate or SME environment, is beneficial.
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
Familiarity with Indian tax laws, statutory compliance requirements, and audit processes in the Greater Delhi Area is beneficial.
