Role Description The Vice President Information Technology is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing the organization’s overall technology vision, strategy, and execution. This role guides IT strategy and governance, aligns technology initiatives with business objectives, and ensures secure, reliable, and scalable systems and infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading IT management teams, prioritizing and managing technology projects, optimizing IT operations, and coordinating with executive leadership to support strategic planning and digital transformation. The Vice President Information Technology will establish policies and standards, manage vendor relationships and budgets, oversee risk management and cybersecurity, and mentor IT staff to build a high-performing, inclusive technology organization.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Information Technology, including systems, infrastructure, applications, and security.
Demonstrated IT Management experience, leading diverse technical teams and overseeing operations and service delivery.
Proven ability to develop and execute IT Strategy that aligns with organizational goals and supports digital transformation.
Project Management expertise, including planning, prioritization, and successful delivery of complex technology initiatives.
Strategic Planning skills, with experience in long-term technology roadmapping, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Experience in senior leadership roles, with the ability to influence and collaborate across executive and functional stakeholders.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change management skills in a remote, distributed environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CISSP, TOGAF) are beneficial.
Background in cybersecurity, cloud technologies, enterprise architecture, and data governance is a plus.
