About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented manual tester with at least 2 years of experience in software testing. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of applications through thorough testing processes.
Responsibilities:
Analyse requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
Perform manual testing (functional, regression, integration, and system testing).
Identify, report, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues.
Execute test cases and document results clearly.
Participate in test planning and review meetings.
Ensure applications meet quality standards before release.
Requirements:
Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC.
Experience in functional and regression testing.
Familiarity with bug tracking tools.
Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman, etc. )
Understanding of automation tools (Selenium is optional).
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
