We are seeking a skilled and experienced AutoCAD professional to join our team as an Online AutoCAD Tutor.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, practical and engaging AutoCAD training to learners through online sessions. The ideal candidate should have genuine practical experience in AutoCAD, strong technical knowledge and the ability to communicate drafting concepts clearly and effectively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Deliver structured and practical AutoCAD lessons online.
• Teach learners from beginner to advanced levels, according to their learning needs.
• Demonstrate professional 2D drafting, drawing, dimensioning, annotation, layouts and plotting techniques.
• Guide learners through practical projects and industry-relevant drafting exercises.
• Prepare lesson materials, exercises and assignments.
• Review learners' work and provide constructive technical feedback.
• Adapt lessons to suit different levels of learner ability.
• Maintain a professional, engaging and supportive online learning environment.
REQUIREMENTS
• Demonstrable professional proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Relevant qualification in Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology, Design, Drafting or a related field.
• Practical experience using AutoCAD in a professional or industry environment.
• Strong understanding of technical drawing and drafting principles.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Previous teaching, tutoring, mentoring or professional training experience is an advantage.
• Ability to conduct practical demonstrations effectively online.
• Reliable internet connection and suitable equipment for online teaching.
RELEVANT PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Experience in any of the following areas will be an advantage:
• Engineering drafting
• Architectural drafting
• Mechanical drafting
• Civil/structural drafting
• Construction drawings and documentation
• CAD design and consultancy
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a professional AutoCAD practitioner who can teach effectively, not simply someone with basic knowledge of the software.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate practical competence in AutoCAD. Applicants may be requested to provide a portfolio or examples of relevant professional AutoCAD work as part of the selection process.
