About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
Intaso has been engaged by a fast-growing cybersecurity services organization to recruit a Cyber Services Operations Coordinator on a temporary basis (3-month contract minimum). This is an operational, ticket-triage-focused role sitting inside the company's Cyber Services function, acting as the central hub between clients, technical consultants, and internal stakeholders. The role reports directly to the VP of Cyber Services.
Day-to-day:
Manage incoming Cyber Services requests from initial review through assignment or handoff — gathering and validating information, determining the appropriate path, maintaining accurate records, and monitoring progress.
Support the initial operational triage of cyber incident notifications alongside standard service engagement tickets.
Serve as the primary point of coordination for a wide stakeholder set — clients, brokers, claims and underwriting teams, internal Cyber Services colleagues, and approved external service providers.
Follow documented workflows to complete recurring operational tasks accurately and consistently, escalating urgent, incomplete, or unusual matters as needed.
Manage daily priorities based on urgency, client impact, and deadlines, providing dependable coverage and communicating blockers early.
Help identify unclear handoffs or avoidable delays, and support practical improvements to ticketing workflows, templates, and reporting.
Use sound judgment to resolve routine issues independently while knowing when to escalate.
What we're looking for:
Prior experience in an operations, coordination, or service-desk role specifically within a cybersecurity organization — MSSP, MDR, incident response, or cyber insurance environment — is required, not a nice-to-have.
Comfort operating in a ticket-based, workflow-driven environment; hands-on experience with Zendesk or a comparable platform strongly preferred.
A customer-service mindset with clear, professional written and verbal communication across both technical and non-technical audiences.
Practical critical thinking — the ability to assess information, spot gaps, determine next steps, and escalate appropriately.
Strong organization, punctuality, and follow-through; ability to manage a high volume of requests with accuracy.
Comfortable handling sensitive information with discretion.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
Ability to work effectively without close direction, taking ownership and keeping work moving.
What is on offer:
3-month contract minimum, remote within the US (ET, CT, MT, or PT time zones)
Anticipated start: early October
$40 per hour
40 Hours a week + Overtime available
