Role Description The Educational Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. The role involves providing one-on-one and group counseling to students on academic planning, course selection, and career pathways. The counselor will assess students’ interests and aptitudes, advise on suitable educational programs, and support them through application and admission processes. Daily responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, maintaining accurate student records, coordinating with parents and institutions, and delivering information sessions or workshops as needed. The counselor will also stay current on local and international education trends and collaborate with the team to improve counseling processes and resources.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Educational Consulting and Education-related knowledge to guide students on academic programs and institutions.
Candidates should possess Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to support learners in decision-making and future planning.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for clear, empathetic, and professional interaction with students, families, and partners.
Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
Prior experience in academic advising, school counseling, or education services is highly beneficial.
Ability to work with diverse student backgrounds, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information responsibly.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with basic office and student management software.
