Role Description The Operator role at next furniture is a full-time, on-site position based in Aurangabad. The Operator is responsible for running production machinery and equipment, following standard operating procedures, and ensuring furniture components are manufactured according to quality and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include setting up machines, monitoring operations, performing basic adjustments, and reporting issues or defects to supervisors. The Operator will record production data, maintain a clean and organized work area, and coordinate with team members to meet daily output targets. This role may also involve handling materials, assisting with packing or loading, and supporting preventive maintenance activities as directed.
Qualifications
Ability to operate machinery or equipment in a manufacturing or industrial setting, with attention to safety and quality.
Basic technical and mechanical aptitude, including understanding of tools, measurements, and production processes.
Strong attention to detail for inspecting products, identifying defects, and following work instructions accurately.
Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks safely.
Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with supervisors and colleagues on the production line.
Willingness to follow company policies, health and safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures consistently.
Prior experience in furniture manufacturing, assembly, or similar production environments is an advantage but not mandatory.
Minimum educational background at the secondary or vocational level; technical training or certifications are a plus.
