Role Description The Kitchen Helper role at Taazabites is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The Kitchen Helper supports daily kitchen operations, including basic food preparation, assisting cooks during meal production, and organizing ingredients and supplies. Responsibilities involve maintaining a clean and hygienic work area, washing and sanitizing utensils and equipment, and following food safety guidelines. The role also includes helping with plating and packing meals, restocking stations, and coordinating with the team to ensure timely, high-quality service. The Kitchen Helper may interact with front-of-house staff to support smooth order fulfillment and a positive customer experience.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Food Preparation and Cooking, with an interest in healthy meals and nutrition-focused cuisine.
Knowledge of Hygiene and food safety practices, including proper cleaning, sanitization, and handling of ingredients.
Understanding of Food & Beverage operations, including basic kitchen workflows and inventory assistance.
Customer Service skills to support a positive experience for internal teams and, when needed, guests.
Ability to follow instructions, work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate with kitchen staff.
Prior experience in a commercial kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
Willingness to work on-site in Bengaluru with flexible schedules, including weekends and peak hours.
