Program Manager, AI 2030 (Fractional)

AI 2030 is a global initiative advancing responsible, inclusive, and human-centered AI. Through education, leadership development, research, accelerators, events, and local communities, AI 2030 brings together leaders and innovators committed to shaping a more responsible AI future.
We are seeking experienced Fractional Program Managers to lead the execution of one or more AI 2030 programs.
Depending on the candidate’s background, the role may focus on a specific program area rather than all AI 2030 initiatives.
Potential Program AreasGlobal Fellow Program
Manage the AI 2030 Global Fellow Program, including recruitment, onboarding, fellow engagement, programming, communications, community building, and impact tracking.
AI Education & E-Learning
Support the development and delivery of AI courses, certification programs, and other learning experiences. Work with subject-matter experts and instructional designers to transform AI 2030 content into engaging e-learning programs.
AI 2030 Events
Program manage AI 2030 summits, roundtables, workshops, and other events. Coordinate agendas, speakers, partners, logistics, communications, and execution.
Local Chapters
Support the development and operation of AI 2030 local chapters. Work with chapter leaders to develop programming, engage local communities, build partnerships, and connect local activities with AI 2030’s global network.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities will vary based on the assigned program and may include:
Own program planning and day-to-day execution.
Develop program timelines, processes, playbooks, and operating systems.
Coordinate participants, speakers, instructors, partners, volunteers, or chapter leaders.
Manage communications and stakeholder engagement.
Track participation, deliverables, outcomes, and program impact.
Identify opportunities to improve and scale the program.
Collaborate with AI 2030 leadership and other program teams.
Qualifications
Candidates do not need experience across all AI 2030 program areas.
We are looking for professionals with strong experience in at least one relevant area, such as:
Fellowship, membership, professional association, or community management
E-learning, instructional design, training, or certification programs
Event or conference program management
Chapter, association, or distributed community operations
Leadership development or professional education programs
Additional qualifications include:
Strong program and project management skills
Excellent organization and stakeholder-management capabilities
Ability to independently manage programs from planning through execution
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfort working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial, and global environment
Interest or experience in AI, emerging technology, or responsible innovation preferred
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a strong program operator who can take ownership of a specific AI 2030 initiative and turn strategy into consistent execution.
We are particularly interested in candidates with deep experience in e-learning and education programs, fellowship or membership management, events, or community and chapter operations. Candidates may specialize in one of these areas rather than all of them.
Role Structure
This is a fractional position with flexible hours. The scope and time commitment will depend on the specific program assigned.
Candidates may be engaged to manage one program or multiple programs based on their experience, availability, and AI 2030’s needs.
