Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Junior Software Developer (Fresher) – Supabase & SQL. The role involves assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of database-driven applications using Supabase and SQL, under the guidance of senior developers. Day-to-day activities include writing and testing SQL queries, implementing and managing Supabase tables, triggers, and APIs, and helping integrate database components with front-end or other services. The developer will participate in code reviews, follow best practices for data security and performance, and document technical work clearly. The role also includes collaborating with cross-functional team members, responding to bug reports, and continuously learning new tools and techniques relevant to the technology stack.
Qualifications
Foundational knowledge of relational databases and SQL, including basic querying, joins, and data modeling.
Exposure to Supabase or similar backend-as-a-service platforms, with interest in learning Supabase authentication, storage, and API features.
Basic programming skills in at least one language commonly used with Supabase (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python).
Understanding of core software development concepts such as version control (Git), debugging, and testing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail in database design and query accuracy.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration and documentation.
Ability to learn quickly, take feedback constructively, and work independently with guidance from senior team members.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or relevant practical experience).
Interest in the heavy equipment or industrial domain and willingness to understand related business processes is a plus.
