Role Description The Vice President of Sales is a full-time remote role responsible for leading sales strategy and execution in alignment with the organization’s educational mission. This role oversees the development and management of sales plans to expand partnerships, programs, and services, and drives revenue growth through effective stakeholder engagement. Day-to-day responsibilities include directing sales operations, managing key accounts, guiding business development initiatives, and coaching sales teams on performance and best practices. The Vice President of Sales collaborates with senior leadership to set targets, analyze market trends, and ensure that sales activities support organizational goals and compliance requirements. The role also involves preparing reports, optimizing processes, and representing the organization in high-level meetings with current and prospective partners.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Sales and Sales Management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and growth targets.
Strong skills in Account Management, with experience maintaining long-term relationships and ensuring partner satisfaction.
Proficiency in Sales Operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, performance monitoring, and process optimization.
Experience in Business Development, identifying new opportunities, negotiating agreements, and expanding market reach.
Proven leadership capabilities, including leading distributed teams, mentoring sales professionals, and driving cross-functional collaboration.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders in public and private sectors.
Strategic thinking and analytical skills, including comfort with data-driven decision-making and use of CRM or sales analytics tools.
Experience in education, public administration, or mission-driven organizations is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage time independently, and operate across multiple regions and time zones.
