Role Description
We're looking for a passionate UI/UX Design Intern to join our team in building a fully functional MVP, from wireframes and user flows to high-fidelity interactive prototypes. You will work closely with senior product team members and software engineers to translate complex ideas into clean, intuitive, and visually appealing user interfaces. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain solid experience designing real-world applications using modern design tools like Figma.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct user research, define user personas, and map out user journeys and wireframes.
Design clean, intuitive, and scalable UI components for our web/mobile applications.
Create interactive, high-fidelity prototypes in Figma for user testing and dev handoff.
Participate in design reviews and regular check‑ins with senior team members.
Collaborate closely with software engineers to ensure design feasibility and smooth implementation.
Maintain and contribute to our visual design system and project documentation.
Qualifications:
Solid understanding of core UI/UX design principles, design thinking, and visual design fundamentals.
Hands-on proficiency with design tools like Figma (components, auto layout, prototyping).
Understanding of design systems, responsive web design, and mobile-first layouts.
Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and visual communication skills.
Ability to present and explain design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical teammates.
A portfolio showcasing relevant UI/UX projects, case studies, or wireframes.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in HCI, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
Bonus: Basic understanding of front-end development constraints (HTML/CSS, React design components).
