Role Description This full-time remote Geschichtslehrer (History Teacher) role focuses on designing and delivering engaging online history lessons to learners at various levels. The role includes preparing and teaching classes in American and World History, adapting materials for diverse learning needs, and using digital tools and platforms for virtual instruction. The Geschichtslehrer will develop and update curricula, create assessments, provide constructive feedback, and track student progress. Additional responsibilities include participating in online staff meetings, collaborating on interdisciplinary projects, and maintaining clear communication with students, caregivers, and colleagues to support a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge and teaching experience in World History and American History.
Proficiency in Lesson Planning and History Education to create structured, learner-centered lessons.
Experience in Curriculum Development, including designing and revising history courses and materials.
Relevant degree in History, Education, or a related field.
Familiarity with online teaching platforms, digital learning tools, and remote classroom management.
