🚀 Key Responsibilities
🎯 Develop and execute the company’s IT project management strategy, aligned with business and technology objectives.
📊 Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of major IT projects and enterprise technology initiatives.
🗂️ Oversee the organization’s IT project portfolio, including priorities, timelines, budgets, resources, dependencies, and deliverables.
⚙️ Establish project management frameworks, methodologies, governance standards, processes, and performance metrics.
📈 Monitor project progress, milestones, budgets, risks, quality, and business outcomes; provide executive-level reporting.
⚠️ Identify and resolve project risks, resource constraints, technical dependencies, delivery issues, and organizational bottlenecks.
🤝 Partner with the CIO, CTO, CEO, and senior business leaders to align technology investments with strategic priorities.
🔄 Lead cross-functional collaboration among IT, Engineering, Product, Operations, Finance, Security, Compliance, and business teams.
💰 Manage project budgets, resource allocation, vendor relationships, contracts, and technology investment priorities.
🌐 Oversee large-scale initiatives involving cloud transformation, enterprise applications, infrastructure modernization, data platforms, AI, automation, and digital transformation.
📋 Establish standardized project documentation, reporting, governance, change-management, and escalation processes.
🚀 Drive continuous improvement across IT project delivery, PMO operations, project methodologies, and organizational capabilities.
👥 Build, mentor, and lead senior project managers, program managers, PMO leaders, and cross-functional delivery teams.
🏢 Present project portfolio performance, strategic risks, investment requirements, and major milestones to executive leadership and the Board when required.
🎓 Experience Requirements
15+ years of progressive experience in IT project management, program management, technology operations, PMO, or enterprise technology delivery.
7+ years of senior leadership experience managing large-scale IT projects, programs, or technology portfolios.
Proven experience leading complex, multi-project environments with significant budgets, resources, and cross-functional teams.
Strong background in project governance, portfolio management, budgeting, resource planning, risk management, and executive reporting.
Demonstrated success delivering enterprise technology initiatives on schedule, within budget, and against defined business objectives.
Experience partnering with CIOs, CTOs, CEOs, CFOs, business executives, vendors, and strategic technology partners.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Lean, or hybrid delivery models.
Experience with enterprise PMO structures, project management platforms, reporting systems, and technology transformation programs.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field required; MBA, PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification preferred.
Strong executive communication, negotiation, strategic planning, decision-making, and team leadership capabilities.
