Role Description The Business Consultant Internship is a full-time remote role focused on supporting advisory projects for NGOs, NPOs, and start-ups. Interns will conduct market and financial research, analyze data, and develop insights to inform client recommendations. Day-to-day work includes preparing presentations and reports, participating in client meetings, and collaborating with project teams to design and evaluate strategic solutions. Interns will help assess client challenges, identify improvement opportunities, and contribute to implementation plans. The role offers hands-on experience in consulting, exposure to real-world business problems, and mentorship from experienced student consultants.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and formulate evidence-based recommendations.
Foundational consulting and management consulting capabilities, such as problem structuring, issue analysis, and solution development.
Effective communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to present findings to diverse stakeholders.
Basic understanding of finance, such as financial statements, budgeting, and business performance metrics.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate within cross-functional, student-led teams.
High level of initiative, professionalism, and interest in NGOs, NPOs, and start-up ecosystems.
Enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Management, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience with research, project work, or case competitions is an advantage but not required.
