Role Description The Senior Merchandiser role at Style Gear Pvt. Ltd. is a full-time, on-site position based in Sankrail. The Senior Merchandiser will plan and manage product assortments, monitor stock levels, and ensure optimal inventory across categories and store locations. Daily responsibilities include analyzing sales data, tracking market trends, coordinating with buying teams, and working closely with store staff to execute merchandising plans and visual displays. The role involves negotiating with suppliers, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely deliveries to meet sales and margin targets. The Senior Merchandiser will also support promotional activities, collaborate with marketing and sales teams, and provide regular performance reports to management.
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with suppliers, store teams, and internal stakeholders.
Customer service and retail operations skills to understand shopper behavior and optimize in-store product presentation.
Sales and marketing skills to support promotional strategies, drive category performance, and meet revenue targets.
Experience in merchandising, inventory planning, and assortment management within a retail or fashion environment.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, including use of spreadsheets and merchandising or ERP systems.
Ability to work on-site in Sankrail, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field preferred.
Previous experience in a mid-level or senior merchandising role with demonstrated results in sales growth and margin improvement.
