Director of Engineering
We are seeking a Director of Engineering to lead large-scale technology modernization and digital transformation initiatives for a Fortune 500 global CPG organization.
This is a high-impact engineering leadership opportunity for a technology leader with experience overseeing enterprise transformation, cloud modernization, and emerging technologies across complex global environments.
The Director of Engineering will report directly to the CTO and play a key role in shaping the organization's engineering strategy, technology roadmap, and modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead ERP modernization, upgrades, and cloud migration initiatives.
Drive enterprise-wide digital transformation and technology innovation.
Oversee the integration and adoption of AI/ML, RPA, and IoT technologies.
Develop and execute engineering strategies aligned with broader business objectives.
Build, lead, and develop high-performing engineering teams across a global organization.
Partner with senior technology and business leadership to deliver large-scale transformation programs.
Establish engineering standards, architecture practices, and delivery methodologies.
Drive modernization of legacy platforms and enterprise technology environments.
Manage complex, cross-functional technology initiatives from strategy through execution.
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
15+ years of experience in software engineering, technology, or enterprise IT leadership.
Proven experience leading large-scale engineering organizations or teams.
Strong background in cloud transformation and enterprise modernization.
Experience with ERP platforms and large-scale ERP initiatives.
Exposure to AI/ML, RPA, IoT, and emerging technologies.
Experience leading digital transformation initiatives within complex enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of modern cloud and engineering architectures.
Demonstrated ability to work with C-suite and executive stakeholders.
Experience managing global or geographically distributed engineering teams.
Strong strategic leadership combined with the ability to drive execution.
