Role Description The Senior Financial Director is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing all financial operations and strategy for Gudang Furniture. This role includes leading financial planning and budgeting processes, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The Senior Financial Director will review and interpret financial statements, provide analytical insights to support strategic decision-making, and advise leadership on investments, cost optimization, and long-term financial sustainability. Daily responsibilities also involve establishing robust internal controls, ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with business objectives. The role requires proactive risk management, development of financial policies, and mentoring finance team members to maintain high performance and professional standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Finance and Financial Planning to lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy.
Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to ensure accurate records and compliant reporting practices.
Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support strategic business decisions.
Extensive experience in senior finance leadership roles, preferably in retail, furniture, or related industries.
Advanced proficiency with financial software, ERP systems, and spreadsheet tools.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
Proven track record in risk management, cost optimization, and improving financial performance.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or equivalent are highly advantageous.
