Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Business Development Manager supporting PL:ON – Włączamy Polskę. The Business Development Manager will identify and develop new partnership opportunities, including sponsors, institutional partners, and innovation-focused organizations. The role involves conducting market and stakeholder research, managing sales pipelines, preparing proposals and presentations, and coordinating outreach campaigns. The person in this position will nurture relationships with existing partners, ensure a high standard of service, and collaborate with the festival team on business planning, revenue targets, and strategic growth initiatives. Daily tasks include online meetings, follow-up communication, maintaining CRM records, and reporting on results and insights to the leadership team.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to conduct market research, evaluate opportunities, and interpret data-driven insights.
Candidates should possess Business Planning skills to support strategy development, revenue forecasting, and partnership roadmaps.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to engage stakeholders, negotiate agreements, and present the festival’s value proposition clearly.
Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to maintain long-term relationships and provide responsive, professional support to partners.
Candidates should possess Sales Operations skills to manage pipelines, track performance, and use CRM or similar tools effectively.
Experience in business development, partnerships, or sales in events, innovation, or nonprofit sectors is highly beneficial.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and collaborate with an international or cross-functional team.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of Polish or other European languages is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
