Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Logistics Analyst to support transportation, distribution, inventory, and supply chain operations. The successful candidate will analyze logistics data, monitor operational performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze logistics and transportation data to identify trends and operational improvements.
Monitor shipments, delivery schedules, transportation costs, and service levels.
Track key logistics performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports.
Assist with transportation planning, routing, and scheduling activities.
Analyze inventory movement and distribution requirements.
Identify inefficiencies and recommend cost-saving and process improvement initiatives.
Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, warehouses, and internal teams.
Maintain accurate logistics records and databases.
Investigate shipment delays, discrepancies, and operational issues.
Support forecasting, budgeting, and logistics planning activities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or operations analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, and data analysis.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to analyze large amounts of information and present findings clearly.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ERP, TMS, or warehouse management systems.
Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
Knowledge of transportation management and inventory planning.
Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
