Motion Designer / Video Editor — Reels & YouTube (Contract → Full-Time)
About the role
We're a Dubai-based social media and content agency looking for a motion designer/editor to handle short-form (Reels/TikTok) and long-form (YouTube) video editing for our own brand and client accounts. Starting on a contract basis, with strong potential to convert to a remote full-time role based on performance.
What you'll do
- Edit Reels/TikTok content: fast-paced cuts, captions, trending audio sync, motion graphics overlays
- Edit long-form YouTube videos: pacing, B-roll integration, sound design, thumbnails
- Create 2D motion graphics for ads and explainer-style content (kinetic typography, animated mockups, transitions)
- Work from raw footage, scripts, or briefs to final polished export
- Turn around quick edits for trend-responsive content when needed
You should have
- A strong portfolio/reel showing both short-form social edits and motion graphics work
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro or Final Cut, plus After Effects for motion graphics
- An eye for pacing and hooks — you understand why the first 2 seconds matter
- Experience editing for brand/business accounts (not just personal content)
- Ability to work from a brief independently and hit deadlines
Nice to have
- Experience with 2D animated ad content (product/service explainer style)
- Sound design / audio mixing skills
- Familiarity with UAE/Gulf social media trends
Engagement
- Contract basis to start, with a clear path to a remote full-time role for the right fit
