Licensed Insurance Agent

Position Summary
We are seeking a licensed Life Insurance Agent to serve clients seeking life insurance and mortgage protection solutions.
The agent will meet with prospective and existing clients, assess their insurance needs, explain available coverage options, assist with applications, and provide follow-up throughout the insurance application process.
This is an independent contractor position focused on client appointments, insurance product education, applications, and ongoing client service.

Commission-based compensation
Commission starts at 80%, based on applicable carrier/product guidelines and placed business
Typical annual earnings for active agents may range from $40,000 to $85,000, depending on production and placed business
Compensation is not guaranteed and actual earnings will vary based on individual production
Schedule
Agents manage their availability around scheduled client appointments, follow-up, and client service activities.
Responsibilities
Meet with clients to understand their life insurance and mortgage protection needs
Explain available insurance products, coverage features, and benefits accurately
Present coverage options that are appropriate for the client's stated needs
Assist clients with completing insurance applications
Follow up with clients and insurance carriers throughout the application process
Maintain accurate and organized client records
Respond to client questions and provide ongoing service
Manage appointments, communications, and follow-up activities professionally
Maintain all required insurance licensing and comply with applicable insurance regulations
Qualifications
Active life insurance license required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional and reliable client service skills
Ability to explain insurance products clearly and accurately
Strong organization and follow-up skills
Previous insurance, sales, or client-facing experience preferred
