Certified English Language Teacher

Role Description The Certified English Language Teacher at VFluent is a full-time remote role focused on delivering high-quality online English instruction to learners of varying proficiency levels. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons, facilitating live virtual classes, providing individualized feedback on assignments, and assessing learner progress using established criteria. The teacher will adapt materials to meet diverse learning needs, maintain accurate records of attendance and performance, and participate in curriculum discussions to improve course content. The role also involves communicating regularly with learners about goals and progress, using digital tools and platforms to support interactive learning, and upholding VFluent’s standards for learner support and professional conduct.
Qualifications
Strong instructional skills, including English Teaching and general Teaching abilities, with experience guiding learners across different levels.
Demonstrated proficiency in Lesson Planning and Education practices, including designing structured, learner-centered lesson plans and assessments.
Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex language concepts clearly and respectfully.
Relevant teaching certification or qualification in English language instruction (e.g., TESOL, TEFL, CELTA) or a degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
Experience delivering remote or online instruction and familiarity with virtual classroom tools and learning management systems.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and maintain reliable internet connectivity and suitable workspace.
Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory teaching practices that support learners from diverse backgrounds.
Previous experience preparing learners for standardized English exams or professional communication contexts is beneficial.
