Role Description This is a full-time, remote Sales Manager role responsible for driving revenue and market share for Anantara Hotels & Resorts. The Sales Manager will proactively identify and develop new business opportunities, manage key accounts, and build strong relationships with corporate, leisure, and group clients. Daily activities include conducting sales calls and virtual meetings, preparing proposals and contracts, coordinating with property-level teams to align sales strategies, and maintaining accurate sales reports and forecasts. The role also involves analyzing market trends and competitor activity, optimizing distribution channels, and collaborating with marketing to support promotional campaigns and brand initiatives. The Sales Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless client experience and consistent achievement of sales targets.
Qualifications
Demonstrated skills in sales strategy, account management, and business development within hospitality or a related industry.
Ability to build and maintain client relationships, negotiate contracts, and manage pipelines using CRM tools.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in virtual collaboration and remote work.
Analytical skills for reviewing sales data, forecasting, and assessing market and competitor trends.
Understanding of hotel revenue management principles, distribution channels, and basic digital sales and marketing practices.
Proven organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work independently.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Prior experience in a sales role in hotels, resorts, or travel services is strongly preferred; international or multi-property experience is an advantage.
Comfort working in a multicultural environment and commitment to inclusive, guest-focused, and ethical business practices.
