Role Description The Block Nodal Officer at Sahayog Hospital Gondia is a full-time, on-site role based in Gondia. The role involves coordinating healthcare programs and services at the block level, ensuring alignment with hospital policies, government guidelines, and public health initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring implementation of health schemes, collecting and reviewing data and reports from various units, and supporting planning and execution of outreach or community health activities. The Block Nodal Officer will work closely with medical, administrative, and field teams to resolve operational issues, improve service delivery, and maintain clear communication with relevant authorities and stakeholders. The role also includes preparing periodic reports, maintaining documentation, and contributing to quality and compliance standards.
Qualifications
Strong coordination, planning, and organizational abilities to manage block-level healthcare activities and multiple stakeholders.
Proficiency in documentation, data collection, and basic data analysis for reporting and monitoring program performance.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with clinical staff, administrative teams, community workers, and external agencies.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address operational challenges and support continuous improvement in service delivery.
Understanding of public health or healthcare systems; prior experience in hospital administration, public health, or government health programs is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Gondia on a full-time basis and manage field visits within the block as required.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Public Health, Healthcare Management, Social Work, or a related discipline; higher qualifications will be considered an asset.
Basic computer skills, including use of office productivity tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email), for reporting and communication.
