Role Description The Vice President of Project Management is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives that support Mirai’s AI products for the real estate industry. This role oversees project and program portfolios, ensuring clear scope definition, detailed project planning, resource allocation, and on-time, on-budget execution. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding project managers, aligning stakeholders on priorities, monitoring progress against milestones, managing risks and dependencies, and optimizing processes for consistent delivery quality. The VP will collaborate with product, engineering, operations, and customer-facing teams to translate strategic goals into actionable project roadmaps, maintain governance standards, and provide regular executive-level reporting. This position also drives continuous improvement in project management methodologies, tools, and performance metrics across the organization.
Qualifications
Strong Project Management skills, including experience leading large, cross-functional initiatives and managing multiple concurrent projects.
Demonstrated expertise in Program Management, with the ability to oversee portfolios, coordinate complex dependencies, and align projects with strategic objectives.
Proficiency in Project Planning, including timeline development, resource planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
Solid Budgeting experience, with a track record of managing project financials, forecasting costs, and ensuring delivery within budget constraints.
Advanced Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret data, define KPIs, and use metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
Extensive leadership experience in project or program management at a director or VP level, preferably in technology, SaaS, or AI-driven environments.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and work effectively in a remote setting.
Familiarity with real estate industry workflows or enterprise software implementation is highly beneficial.
Experience with modern project management tools and frameworks (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban, hybrid approaches).
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, SAFe) are a plus.
