Role Description The Brand Director is a full-time, remote role responsible for shaping and advancing WIFFS’s brand identity, voice, and positioning across all channels. This role leads brand strategy development, including defining key messages, visual guidelines, and audience segments, to support member engagement and growth. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing brand marketing initiatives, planning and executing campaigns for events and programs, and ensuring consistent, inclusive representation of WIFFS across digital platforms and partner communications. The Brand Director collaborates with founding members and administrators to align brand efforts with organizational goals, conducts ongoing market research to refine positioning, and tracks performance metrics to optimize outreach and engagement. This role also manages external vendors or partners as needed to support design, content creation, and digital marketing activities.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in Brand Strategy and Brand Management, with the ability to define and implement a clear, cohesive brand identity.
Strong skills in Brand Marketing and Market Planning to design and execute campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and membership growth.
Proficiency in Market Research to analyze audience needs, industry trends, and competitive positioning, and to translate insights into actionable brand initiatives.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience crafting inclusive, gender-neutral messaging for professional audiences.
Background in financial services, fintech, legal, or compliance fields is highly beneficial, with familiarity of regulatory and industry dynamics.
Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at different levels.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related discipline; advanced degree or specialized training in brand management is a plus.
Experience with digital marketing tools, social media management, and analytics platforms to measure and improve brand performance.
