Responsibilities
• Analyze product and business data with SQL to explain trends, customer behavior, and operational performance
• Define metrics and build reliable dashboards and recurring reports with clear definitions
• Investigate data quality issues and reconcile findings across source systems
• Design and interpret funnel, cohort, and experiment analyses with appropriate statistical checks
• Communicate findings and practical recommendations to product and business stakeholders
• Lead technical design and delivery for complex initiatives in this role, making tradeoffs explicit
• Mentor colleagues and improve review, documentation, and operational practices
Qualification
Required
• Practical experience delivering data analysis from an initial business question through a documented recommendation
• Strong SQL skills, including joins, window functions, and aggregation
• Ability to build and validate dashboards using a business intelligence tool
• Working knowledge of statistics, experiment interpretation, and data quality checks
• Clear written communication and the ability to collaborate with a remote team
• Demonstrated experience owning complex projects from design through production or business adoption
• Ability to lead technical decisions, review others' work, and mentor colleagues
Preferred
• Experience with Python or R for reproducible analysis
• Familiarity with product analytics, event instrumentation, and metric governance
