Role Description The Director of Portfolio Management is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing and optimizing a diversified portfolio of Fintech and select non-Fintech investments. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating new and existing investments, monitoring portfolio performance, and leading the development of portfolio strategies aligned with the firm’s risk and return objectives. The role involves coordinating project portfolio management activities, prioritizing initiatives, and working closely with investment, research, and operations teams to ensure effective execution. The Director will prepare regular reporting and analytics for leadership, refine allocation decisions based on market insights, and contribute to the identification of new opportunities, including early-stage ventures and public market plays.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets, evaluate risk/return profiles, and generate actionable insights.
Candidates should possess Finance and Portfolio Management skills to manage investment allocations, assess financial performance, and support long-term value creation.
Candidates should possess Project Portfolio Management and Program Management skills to oversee multiple initiatives, prioritize resources, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Experience in investment management, venture capital, private equity, or related fields, preferably with exposure to Fintech and high-growth technology sectors.
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting, collaborate across distributed teams, and communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
Familiarity with trading strategies, market analysis, and portfolio risk management tools is highly beneficial.
